Maintenance Technician & Property Management Support (Full-Time)
Location:
Edwardsville, KS (2 apartment communities)
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to support the daily operations of two multi‑family apartment communities in Edwardsville, KS. This is a hands‑on role focused on property maintenance with limited operational support.
Responsibilities- Perform routine and emergency maintenance
- Respond to resident work orders promptly and professionally
- Prepare vacant units for new residents (unit turns)
- HVAC service and maintenance
- Light plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair
- Painting, drywall, carpentry, and flooring repair
- Assist with vendor coordination as needed
- Conduct property walks and post resident notices
- Maintain accurate records of work performed
- Experience in residential or multi‑family maintenance preferred
- Skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, and drywall
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather
- Basic computer and data entry skills
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation - Personal hand tools required
- Functional cell phone with active service
- HVAC or trade certifications
- Construction or renovation experience
- Familiarity with Rent Manager or similar software
