Key Accountabilities
Assemble, install, inspect, maintain, repair, modify, troubleshoot, and test electrical and electronic systems and equipment such as: motors, generators, motor control centers, switch gear, lighting circuits,

C. variable speed drives, solid state boards, electronic process control devices and electronic scales. Use programmable logic controller(s) to isolate faulty electrical/electronic equipment. Use necessary test instruments, test equipment and tools such as: voltmeters, ampere meters, and other electrical analyzing equipment. Perform operational and functional tests to determine equipment or instrument malfunctions; fabricate reworks and install necessary parts and accessories. Upon completion of equipment repair, check work to insure proper operation.
Inform plant operators or supervisor of work completion. Prepare and maintain loss reports, charts and other paper work incidental to duties. Keep work areas, measuring instruments, tools, electric cart and accessories in a safe, clean and orderly condition at all times. Adjust and calibrate equipment, instruments and other devices to specifications. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Environmental Health & Safety
Maintain safe working conditions and practices within the department. Conduct monthly safety meetings and employee training to achieve a zero (0) lost time injury record. Perform work duties in accordance with Quality System Manual procedures.

Other requirements
Good command of both oral and written local language. Good command of both oral and written additional language is beneficial. Experience preferred 5 years of experience in industrial electrical/electronic maintenance. Formal training or practical experience in electrical industrial maintenance. Thorough knowledge of the electrical/electronic maintenance requirements and procedures for crushing, grinding, conveying, and related machinery. Knowledge of applicable electrical codes, occupational hazards and necessary safety precautions typically involved in the profession.
Ability to read, understand and use blueprints, wiring diagrams, sketches, schematics, manufacturer's instructions as well as comprehend verbal instructions. Ability to access all areas of the plant and perform repairs and maintenance as required to ensure peak performance of the equipment.
