Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities- Conducting maintenance and repair work on machines, systems, and building technology
- Providing feedback on machine-specific maintenance plans
- Ensuring planned and preventive maintenance of systems
- Supporting the establishment of preventive and smart maintenance
- Maintaining technical documentation and operating instructions
- Troubleshooting in ongoing production operations
- Manufacturing spare parts with conventional machining in the company's own workshop
- Independently carrying out smaller project assignments
- Accompanying restarts and test runs
- Actively participating in KVP and Lean projects and providing continuous feedback to supervisors to improve system availability
- Completed vocational training as an industrial mechanic or mechatronic technician
- Team capability and strong technical understanding
- Flexibility and cost awareness
- Basic IT skills
- Several years of professional experience, preferably in an industrial company, ideally in the chemical industry
- Goal-oriented and independent working style
- Solid knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, control technology, and metalworking processes
- Car driver's license
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and on-call duty
Physical Requirements
- Working in indoor temperatures from about 10 °C (average about 25 °C) to a maximum of 40 °C and outdoors
- Handling hazardous substances (e.g., dust, soot, fumes, isocyanates)
- Manual lifting and carrying of loads
- Working in constrained positions and in confined spaces
- Working in areas with high forklift and transport traffic
- Height work
- Irregular night and weekend work as part of an existing on-call system
- Very good and long-term knowledge of the installed systems and system types
- Ability to drive containers and fall protection
- Forklift license and crane operator's license
