Truck Mechanic

We are seeking an experienced Truck Mechanic to join our Equipment team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing equipment issues, as well as performing preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance. This key member will work closely with other departments and stakeholders to ensure the efficient and effective use of company resources.

• Perform maintenance and repair work on company equipment, including heavy equipment and trucks.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues, develop solutions, and prevent downtime.
• Carry out preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
• Ensure all equipment-related activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Manage relationships with vendors and manufacturers, negotiate contracts, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Develop and maintain equipment-related reports and metrics, and communicate information to stakeholders.
• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements in equipment maintenance and repair.
• Travel to job sites during the day as needed, while remaining home each night (non‑travel role).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Class E driver’s license required.
• 1‑2 years of experience in truck maintenance and repair (semi, dealership, or auto body shop).
• Strong technical skills to diagnose and troubleshoot complex equipment issues.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with various audiences.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Experience using equipment maintenance or repair software preferred.
