Monday – Friday. We’re committed to offering you stable hours for the financial security and work life balance you need. The normal setting for this job is a repair / maintenance shop at our Louisburg, KS hauling site.

Each day you’ll fix the trucks and equipment that service over 20 million customers across the USA.

• Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment.
• Estimate time and material costs on vehicle repairs and new parts.
• Perform your work within our Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs).
• Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns.
• Perform safety checks on vehicles – the safety of every single employee and the people in our communities is our number one priority.
• Complete required paperwork, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.
• Assist senior Mechanics in the completion of project work.
• Review, complete, or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards and perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.

• 2 years of relevant work experience.
• A valid driver’s license, with a clean driving record.
• Be over 18 years of age.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Successfully complete and pass pre‑employment drug screen and physical.

Physically demanding work includes:

• Exert physical effort that will include but is not limited to frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, and climbing; constantly standing, walking, and grasping; occasionally sitting and balancing.
• Exposure to physical occupational risks (such as cuts, burns, exposure to toxic chemicals, etc.) often.
• Exposure to physical environment which involves dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements often.
• Work in both inside garage, shop, or gas plant conditions as well as outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity.
