As a Diesel Mechanic, you'll play a critical role in maintaining and repairing our fleet to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing preventative maintenance inspections and repairs on tractors, trailers, refrigerated units, and support equipment
- Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing vehicle and equipment issues
- Disassembling, repairing, and reassembling heavy truck and trailer components
- Performing tire maintenance, repairs, inspections, and failure analysis
- Ensuring all work meets OEM, DOT, and company standards
- Completing repair orders and maintenance documentation accurately
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
- Ability to pass a pre-employment hair-follicle drug screening
- Entry-level knowledge of vehicle systems and basic maintenance preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to read repair manuals and complete work orders
- Willingness to learn diagnostic software and new technologies
