Field Service Technician

Satellite Shelters is seeking a Field Service Technician to support our modular building fleet for construction and industrial clients. Based in the field, you'll inspect, repair, and maintain mobile offices and modular complexes, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, doors, windows, and finishes. You will perform site installs, teardown, troubleshooting, and warranty work while following strict safety standards. Partner closely with the branch team and customers, document work performed, manage parts and tools, and support high-quality, on-time delivery of temporary and permanent modular space solutions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and maintain modular buildings, mobile offices, and related components
• Perform basic HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and finish work on units
• Complete field installs, setup, relocation, and teardown of modular buildings
• Troubleshoot and resolve service issues and perform warranty repairs
• Follow and enforce company and jobsite safety policies and procedures
• Document work performed, parts used, and time in service software or work orders
• Communicate effectively with branch team and customers regarding service status
• Maintain company tools, vehicles, and equipment in safe working condition
• Assist with yard organization, quality checks, and unit readiness for rental or sale
• Support continuous improvement in service quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
