Lake Quivira is a premier private lake and country club community located just minutes from western Johnson County. We are seeking a dependable, motivated Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team.

• Perform general building maintenance and repairs
• Maintain and repair plumbing fixtures, furniture, woodwork, electrical systems, appliances, ventilation systems, and building structures
• Paint and repair doors, windows, walls, ceilings, roofs, drywall, tile, brick, and grout
• Perform preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment
• Maintain air conditioning systems, refrigerators, ice machines, pool pumps, and related equipment
• Monitor pool filtration and chlorination systems, test pool water, and maintain health department logs
• Repair small motors and equipment
• Assist with facility setup and support for club events
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
• Work with the Facilities Manager on special projects and other assigned duties

• High school diploma or GED required
• One year of maintenance experience in a commercial, institutional, hospitality, or similar environment preferred
• Vocational or technical training in HVAC, refrigeration, electrical or related trade is a plus
• General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical repairs
• Experience using power and hand tools safely
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing, lifting, and working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Must be able to safely operate tools and equipment while performing physical maintenance tasks

This is a full‑time position. Work hours are generally daytime, with occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to support club operations and special events.
