A Day in the LifeA Career Specialist identifies, recruits, and educates students who face challenges to graduation, guiding them toward successful transitions to college, military, or career pathways using the JAG model.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing instructional time for 35–60 students, delivering project‑based learning, career, civic, social, and service‑learning activities.
- Conducting student conferences focused on career exploration and personal development.
- Providing ongoing support, advocacy, and follow‑up services to graduates and non‑graduates.
- High school diploma.
- Resident of Kansas and holds a valid driver’s license.
- Strong ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with technology.
