Tribal Victim Services Specialist
The Tribal Victim Services (TVS) Specialist provide immediate and on-going assistance to Native American victims of crime including domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, stalking, and elder abuse in the Northeast Kansas area to include referrals and case management services to victims; advocates through support, information and assistance to victims as their case moves through the criminal justice process and beyond;
assists victims with identifying needs.
Minimum Requirements:
Driving:
Must have a valid Kansas driver's license and be insurable with the Nation's insurance
Experience:
1 year of similar or related experience advocating for individuals in need of assessments, referrals, support services and case management. Education may be substituted for experience.
Education:
Associate degree in psychology, social work, criminal justice, or other social services related field OR High School Diploma/GED and completion certification as an advocate, law enforcement officer, social work case manager, or a similar and relevant field.
