Compensation
:
Hourly pay with overtime (average 65 hours per week – $27/hour) and potential total compensation over $100k in the first year. Opportunity for training reimbursement for CDL and hazardous materials if you commit to stay at least 18 months.

Position Summary
:
Drive a dedicated route transporting hazardous materials to company locations regionally and across the United States. Safely and responsibly maintain all equipment required to perform job functions. No CDL required – we will provide training. You will operate a late model truck equipped with APU and refrigerator. Vehicles include van, tanker, and flatbed (no tarping).
- Adhere to U.S. Department of Transportation regulations for safe operation of company vehicle.
- Transport and deliver freight over long distances safely, efficiently, timely, and legally.
- Hook and unhook trailers; secure freight; install and remove tire chains as required by weather.
- Load and unload trailers and perform lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying freight.
- Ensure vehicle is properly labeled with safety placards to ensure DOT compliance.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and maintain records required by state and federal laws.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment; refer defects/repairs to company personnel.
- Represent company and trucking industry professionally.
- Complete pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections of company vehicle and equipment.
- High School Graduate or GED.
- Minimum 2 years of previous oilfield experience hauling hazardous chemicals (helpful but not required).
- Must possess a Class A CDL with Hazmat, Tanker, and Airbrake endorsements.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certification.
- Forklift certification required (helpful but not required).
- Required ability to read maps and follow driving directions.
- Basic computer skills – navigate web browser, follow online instructions, type, and use a mouse.
- Customer service skills – meet internal and external commitments, respond promptly, and solicit feedback.
- Work ethic – dependable, trustworthy, truthful, credible, demonstrate commitment to excellence.
- Physical abilities – lift and carry up to 100 pounds; lift 55‑gallon drums (up to 600 pounds) with a drum dolly.
Driving an enclosed truck on a daily basis; working outdoors while loading and unloading goods; exposure to temperature extremes and contaminants such as diesel fuel, exhaust, and hazardous chemicals. Requires manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude; safety equipment includes hardhat, safety glasses, hearing protection, work boots, gloves, and H2S monitor as required.
Required Qualifications- Hazmat endorsement.

- Read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Adhere to guidelines, policies, and procedures as described in the Jacam handbook.
- Adhere to Jacam’s Drug and Alcohol policy and agree to submit to random drug testing as a condition of employment.
