Data Collector For Street And Public Space Imaging

Terry Soot Management Group (TSMG) is a field data collection company founded in 2017 in Europe. We collect data where automation is not possible. We count functionalities, take photos, make videos, record speech, and scan areas for every detail you need to make informed decisions. Our field data collection teams are spread across Europe and North America, ready to take on new challenges.

Project Objective

The aim of the project is to collect images of streets, key points of interest, and public spaces in EU countries. The project is carried out using cars with 360 cameras mounted on top that record the area around the vehicle and store these images on computers inside the vehicle. In the result, this data will be used to improve one of the most popular online maps in the world.

Data collectors will receive specific routes around streets and public areas, specifically targeting commercial districts and historical sites. Due to bad weather conditions, some areas will be visited multiple times to collect the best image quality. The project is expected to last from 3 to 6 months and will cover different data collection zones.

The ideal candidate loves driving, knows the area well, traffic trends, is very responsible and reliable.

The planned schedule for the project is Monday to Friday, 8 hours a day and 40 hours a week. Due to weather conditions, it is possible to work on weekends.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid driver's license;
• Good driving skills and a clean driving record;
• A private, monitored parking space for a company vehicle would be a plus;
• General knowledge of the car would be a plus;
• Loves driving, within normal business hours;
• Available for at least three months;
• Excellent communication and reporting skills;
• Technical knowledge (drivers will use Gmail, Google Forms, Google Meet, and Whats App);
• High level of responsibility;
• Motivated and considerate.
