Logistics Manager

Strategic and operational leadership of logistics

You take overall responsibility for logistics at the Speyer location and manage the areas of inbound logistics, warehousing, internal transport, and outbound logistics.

Leadership and development of the logistics organization

You lead your teams goal-oriented and continuously develop the logistics organization to sustainably strengthen efficiency, quality, and cooperation.

Ensuring a smooth material flow

You ensure a reliable supply of production and on-time delivery of our products along the entire value chain.

Optimization of logistics processes and structures

By analyzing existing processes, you identify improvement potentials and actively drive measures to increase efficiency and optimize processes.

Control of logistics KPIs and costs

You are responsible for relevant logistics KPIs, monitor inventories and delivery performance, and control the logistics budget with a focus on cost-effectiveness.

Cooperation with internal and external partners

You work closely with production, planning, purchasing, and supply chain management and coordinate cooperation with logistics service providers, freight forwarders, and customs offices.

Your profile

• Successfully completed studies in logistics, supply chain management, industrial engineering, business administration, or a comparable field.
• Several years of professional experience in a responsible position in the logistics or supply chain environment of a manufacturing company.
• Experience in leading and developing teams.
• Profound understanding of logistics processes and material flows as well as analytical and structured working methods.
• Secure handling of ERP systems, ideally SAP.
• Communication skills, assertiveness, and a solution-oriented and self-reliant working style.
