Job Summary / Brief
River Bend Agricultural Services LLC, a division of the Novus Ag network, is seeking a highly analytical and proactive Logistics Coordinator to oversee our regional transportation pipelines. This position is open to qualified candidates nationwide, and full relocation assistance will be provided to the local facility area if required. Operating on a hybrid schedule, you will manage end-to-end supply movements and optimize distribution workflows across our agricultural service networks.
You will build strong relationships by routing commercial freight carriers, troubleshooting transit delays, and aligning delivery schedules with regional facility requirements to maximize supply chain efficiency and team productivity.
Freight Routing: Plan and coordinate regional truck transport schedules, matching inbound and outbound chemical loads with certified freight carriers.
Carrier Management: Act as the primary contact for third-party transportation partners, negotiating transit arrival windows and monitoring carrier performance metrics.
Transit Optimization: Analyze delivery routes and load consolidations to improve fleet utilization, reduce transit timelines, and lower regional fuel expenses.
Issue Resolution: Monitor live transit trackers to detect shipping delays, missed appointments, or route diversions, implementing quick recovery plans to safeguard delivery deadlines.
Operational Syncing: Coordinate closely with facility management and warehouse personnel to guarantee cohesive office support and strict documentation compliance.
Applicant Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent certificate required;
Associate degree or coursework in logistics, supply chain management, or business administration is preferred.
Proven track record in logistics coordination, freight dispatching, or third-party carrier management.
Strong computer skills with cloud file sharing, team communication tools, and Transportation Management Systems (TMS) or routing software.
Willingness to relocate to the physical facility hub environment, utilizing company-provided relocation assistance.
Excellent communication skills with a natural ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
