Distribute commissary orders and products to individual detainees within a correctional facility.

• Collect inmate order sheets according to facility procedures.
• Process commissary orders through the computerized commissary software.
• Research and answer offender requests and written complaints regarding commissary services.
• Unload and verify orders/products received from the USCS Distribution Center.
• Conduct inventory counts of bulk products as necessary.
• Supervise inmate workers (if applicable).
• Transport orders/products to assigned distribution area within the facility.
• Positively identify all offenders receiving orders prior to distribution.
• Distribute commissary orders and allow offenders to verify contents.
• Note any discrepancies on delivery receipts.
• Obtain offender signature upon receipt.
• Provide offender with a copy of the delivery receipt.
• Retain a signed copy of the order receipt for records.
• Account for all delivery receipts from the delivery process.
• Account for all non-delivered commissary orders.
• Retain and dispose of all trash generated during delivery.
• Process any credits associated with distribution through software.
• Maintain a local commissary menu.
• Attend facility-required training and meetings.
• Act as liaison between the facility and USCS.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Maintain correctional facility security clearance.
• Lift orders/packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Attend initial and annual orientation and training, and maintain certifications as required.
• Follow all rules, regulations, security policies, and procedures of the detention facility.
• Adhere to company employee handbook and USCS local operations manual policies.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills.
• Two years of work experience.
• Good customer service skills.
• Reliable transportation.
