Job Summary
As an Inventory Control Quality Assurance (ICQA) Supervisor, you will oversee inventory management and quality assurance to maintain high standards and regulatory compliance.
Location and Work ArrangementsLocation:
30800 W. 207th Street, Edgerton, KS 66021 (Hostess Distribution Center).
Work Arrangement: 100% on-site. Split Shift: approximately 12pm-10pm Tuesday–Friday. Flexibility required. Willingness to work off shift (including nights, weekends, and/or holidays) as needed.
Responsibilities- Manage all inventory and quality functions.
- Lead inventory control team members – conduct onboarding, training, performance feedback, and coaching.
- Perform inventory audits.
- Maintain quality assurance standards to meet evolving industry requirements.
- Ensure inventory accuracy goal attainment.
- Accountability for warehouse inventory and quality reports.
- Create and maintain effective working relationships with cross‑functional team members and related staff groups.
- Resolve problems and conflicts directly with supervisors and peers.
- Provide solutions that impact safety, quality, cost, delivery, and service.
- Act as liaison with internal and external parties on inventory and quality matters.
- Be proactive in improving and optimizing processes.
- Maximize the performance of the site warehouse management system.
- Identify opportunities for employee growth.
- Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety practices.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and teamwork in meeting goals.
- Commit to process excellence by ensuring proper, efficient and accurate use of the process.
- Communicate effectively with leadership, team members, and other departments.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 2+ years’ experience in comprehensive supply chain management.
- 2+ years of experience managing inventory within distribution logistics, preferably in a 24x7x365 environment.
- Demonstrated planning, organizational, and analytical skills; able to partner and communicate with all levels of an organization from hourly associates to senior management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, warehouse management systems, and database systems.
- Proven ability to multi‑task, set and manage priorities based on business requirements.
- Effective communication in English (written and verbal).
- 3+ years of leadership experience.
- Experience in Blue Yonder, Oracle, and IMI systems.
- Food distribution experience.
Regularly required to talk and hear. Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Able to lift objects up to 50 pounds frequently. May push and pull heavy objects. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
