The Cycle Counter will have familiarity and experience with warehousing, shipping, order picking, parcel orders, process management along with great people and communication skills. This position will report to the Warehouse Manager and will oversee receiving and inventory control as they work alongside the people and processes in this area of the warehouse.
Duties and Responsibilities- Completes cycle counting either as scheduled or as requested by warehouse manager.
- Checks inventory levels on packaged and raw materials as requested.
- Manages specific inventory locations to ensure inventory is accurate.
- Ensure warehouse space is utilized effectively along with remaining clean and safe environment.
- Reports any inventory that is close to shelf life to prevent inventories from going out of date.
- Suggests movement of product locations to maintain the most efficient locations.
- Performs job according to pre-established safety, quality, and efficiency standard operating procedures.
- Attend required company meetings and training and participate in constructive discussion
- Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook
- Conduct self in the presence of customers and community so as to present a professional image of Dot's Pretzels
- Proactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training, in an effort to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment required.
- Previous experience operating a Forklift
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills required, verbal and written.
- Previous experience using Microsoft Office:
Outlook, Excel, and Word. - Other inventory or warehouse management system experience highly preferred
- Food Manufacturing experience a plus.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Candidate must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship
