Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM Starting Pay: $21.00 per hour plus shift differential of $0.50
Role
Description:
The 2nd Shift Inventory Control Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Edgerton, KS. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting regular cycle counts, and reconciling discrepancies between physical inventory and system data. The specialist will monitor inbound and outbound shipments, verify product quantities and locations, and support shipping and receiving activities to ensure inventory integrity. Daily tasks include updating inventory management systems, investigating and resolving inventory issues, preparing reports, and partnering closely with warehouse operations to support continuous improvement in inventory accuracy.
The role may also involve assisting with physical inventory events, implementing inventory control procedures, and following all safety and quality standards on the warehouse floor.
- Demonstrated skills in Inventory Control and Inventory Accuracy, with the ability to reconcile discrepancies and maintain precise records.
- Experience with Inventory Management systems and processes, including tracking, reporting, and analyzing inventory data.
- Knowledge of Physical Inventory procedures, including cycle counts, audits, and full inventory events.
- Familiarity with Shipping & Receiving operations and related documentation to support accurate inventory flow.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, preferably in a 3PL or distribution setting.
- Ability to work 2nd shift on-site in Edgerton, KS, and perform tasks that may require standing, walking, and lifting within safety guidelines.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and warehouse management systems; strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams; high level of reliability and accountability.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification in logistics or inventory management is beneficial.
