Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant at a growth-oriented energy company. Expand your skills and knowledge as a member of the shared services finance-accounting team – you’ll work with multiple stakeholders managing over $100M in spend. Enjoy exposure to senior leaders while providing analysis of the company's forecasting and business planning initiatives. Reporting to the Sr Accounting Manager, you will serve as a key contributor, leveraging your talents to make an impact and grow.

• Monthly general ledger activities for operating expenses and capital expenditures for the Hawaii renewables entity, including detailed analysis, monthly invoice preparation, journal entry posting, and intercompany account reconciliations.
• Accounts Payable analysis and support for the General Ledger team, including research into SAP AP process requirements and the 3-way match process.
• Yield accounting support and cross-training with the yield accounting team as needed.
• Collaboration with Par Pacific/Par Hawaii accounting teams on SAP-related issues.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• Minimum 10 years of general ledger accounting experience in private industry and/or public accounting.
• Oil and Gas industry experience preferred.
• Clear understanding of GAAP financial statements.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States without visa requirements; eligible to obtain a TWIC card.
• Targeted salary range: $85,000 to $106,000, plus non-discretionary bonus.

This is an in-office position in Kapolei.
