DescriptionSalary Information:
Minimum for Academic Year , $2,053 per credit hour, commensurate with education and experience.
Other Conditions:
For lecturer applicant pool, part-time, pending availability of funds and actual staffing requirements. Must be available to teach courses online and in person, either during the day, evening, or weekend.
- Teach assigned courses in Elementary Education, K-6.
- Maintain a minimum of one office hour per week for each course taught.
- Prepare course syllabi and reports related to teaching and student progress.
- Work under supervision of division chair to integrate teaching efforts with other instructors within the discipline area.
- As needed, work with multimedia presentation, distance education instruction, and teaching at off‑campus sites.
- Master's degree in Elementary Education, Curriculum & Instruction, or in a disciplinary area such as English Language Arts, Math, the Sciences, or the Social Studies.
- Minimum 3 years Elementary School (K-6) teaching experience.
- Demonstrated teaching effectiveness, as verified by professional references.
- College teaching experience in an accredited teacher preparation program.
