Salary:
Minimum $2,053 per credit hour for the Academic Year 2026‑2027, commensurate with education and experience.
Other Conditions:
This is a part‑time lecturer position contingent on availability of funds and staffing requirements. Courses may be taught during the day, evening, weekend, or online.
- Teach assigned sociology courses (Early College).
- Maintain a minimum of one office hour per week for each course taught.
- Prepare course syllabi and reports related to teaching and student progress.
- Work under the supervision of the division chair to integrate teaching efforts with other instructors in the discipline area.
- Assist with multimedia presentation, distance education instruction, and teaching at off‑campus sites as needed.
- Master's Degree in Social Sciences.
- Demonstrated teaching effectiveness.
- College teaching experience.
