The Hawaii State Department of Education seeks qualified teachers with a valid Hawaii Special Education license to join our K-12 classrooms. Successful applicants will plan and facilitate IEP meetings, exercise independent professional judgment, and maintain an efficient work pace to meet deadlines.
If hired without a completed Teacher Education Program, candidates have up to 3 years to obtain licensure, with annual progress toward HTSB requirements and alignment with the chosen teaching line.
