Job Summary:

Costuming is a fast paced environment where you can showcase your interest in operations, costuming and entertainment. Costuming cast members are responsible for issuing and maintaining costumes to the Resort On Stage and Backstage Cast Members.
Responsibilities:- Interact with cast members and ensure clean costumes for each working shift
- Help performers dress/undress
- Take responsibility for the care of costumes and underdressings
- Inspect costumes and pieces for repairs – send out to respective locations
- Housekeeping duties including vacuuming, sweeping, emptying trash, dusting, etc.
- Laundry tasks: sorting, scrubbing, hand‑washing, drying, ironing, folding, and placing all costumes/underdressings on hangers
- Use RFID scanning system to inventory and track items
- Use computer to input cast member information and complete multiple inventory transactions
- Assist cast members in locating proper costumes
- Store returned clean costumes in designated location(s)
- Handle and sort dirty/soiled laundry
- May work locker issue – issue locks, assist keepers, maintain locker rooms, organize supplies, conduct fittings, order costumes, maintain laundry records
- May work stockroom – support operations in a warehouse-like environment receiving, storing, delivering, and tracking costumes
- Passion for the Entertainment industry
- Willingness to enforce and model Disney Look appearance guidelines
- Direct cast members on how to wear assigned costumes
- Confidence using computer tracing systems
- Experience in a fast paced work environment
- Ability to complete repetitive tasks while maintaining quality
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Willing to learn (may need to learn how to sew buttons, hooks, etc.)
- May require climbing tall ladders and working at heights
- Previous experience in a retail and/or theatrical environment
- Sewing experience: operate industrial sewing machines and demonstrate basic garment alteration and repair skills
- Knowledge of Hawaiian/Japanese language preferred
Part‑Time:
Must be available for 2 full days including Saturday, plus one additional weekday (not required to work the third day). Must be available to work up to 40 hours during training.
The pay rate for this role in Hawaii is $29.86 per hour. Select benefits may be provided as part of the compensation package.
