TECH Resources is prioritizing our efforts to seek an Epic Prelude Analyst for a key, direct hire (FTE) Role with our longtime client, a leading healthcare organization in Hawaii.

  • This is a unique opportunity to combine your Epic expertise with incredible Island living, working onsite in one of the most desirable locations in the country, with what we feel is some of the most talented group of healthcare organizations we have worked with in our 27 year history focusing in the provider industry exclusively.
  • Salary $97,000–$115,000. Relocation assistance and sign-on bonuses are available for the right candidate.

Epic Prelude Analyst

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and modify Patient Work Queues, WQ Rules, and WQ Properties
  • Review and understand existing Patient WQ rules with complex custom logic
  • Modify Patient WQ rules without disrupting existing functionality
  • Interpret operational requirements and build solutions independently
  • Configure Parent/Child WQ relationships
  • Determine appropriate use of dynamic routing rules versus warning rules
  • Perform comprehensive testing including new build and negative testing scenarios
  • Support patient flow management and registration workflows
Epic Prelude Analyst Essential Qualifications
  • Current Epic Prelude certification required
  • Extensive experience building and modifying Patient Work Queues
  • Ability to review complex WQ rules and understand their logic
  • Strong independent problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Parent/Child WQ relationships
  • Understanding of when to use dynamic routing rules vs. warning rules
  • Comprehensive testing methodology experience
  • Healthcare operations knowledge
