Job Summary

Job Summary: Senior Helpers of West Oahu is seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Caregivers to provide in-home support to seniors in our community. As a Caregiver, you will assist clients with daily living activities, provide companionship, and help ensure their safety and comfort s role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping others and making a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and their families.

• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
• Provide medication reminders according to the care plan
• Prepare light meals and assist with feeding when necessary
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dishes, and maintaining a tidy living environment
• Accompany clients to appointments or errands if required
• Monitor and report any changes in a client’s physical or mental condition to supervisors
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and daily activities
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and client care plans

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous caregiving, home care, or healthcare experience preferred but not required
• CNA certification is a plus but not required
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable personality
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow care plans and instructions
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist clients up to 50 lbs using proper techniques
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and assist clients for extended periods
• Ability to work in various home environments
