Recruiter I (Temporary)

Location: Honolulu, HI

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (In-Office)

Pay Rate: $25.81 per hour

Employment Type: Full-Time, Temporary (40 hours per week)

Assignment Length: Approximately 3 months, with actual duration dependent on business needs

Start Date: ASAP

Bishop & Company is seeking a Recruiter for a temporary opportunity in Honolulu!

We are looking for a motivated and experienced recruiting professional to support full-cycle recruiting and staffing functions. This role serves as a key point of contact for hiring managers and applicants while helping ensure an efficient and positive hiring process.

• Manage full-cycle recruiting activities, including:
  • Posting open positions
  • Sourcing candidates
  • Coordinating job fairs and recruiting events
  • Screening and interviewing applicants
  • Conducting reference checks
  • Processing pre-employment requirements
  • Preparing offer letters
• Serve as a primary point of contact for hiring managers, employees, applicants, and customers.
• Present company information effectively to both internal and external audiences.
• Support various HR initiatives, including:
  • Process improvement projects
  • Data analysis and research
  • Procedure development and administration
  • HR reporting and recommendations
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Prepare and submit reports required by regulatory agencies.
• Develop and maintain recruiting and employment-related reports that support organizational needs.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of Human Resources experience with a strong focus on recruitment and staffing
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain confidentiality
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
