Be the HR leader closest to the business—supporting five locations across four Hawaiian islands with the autonomy to influence people, culture and operations.
What You Will Do:- Serve as a trusted HR partner to leadership and employees across multiple locations, supporting both union and non-union work forces
. - Provide hands‑on guidance across employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, succession planning, compensation/benefits and organizational development
. - Lead employee relations matters and workplace investigations, ensuring compliance with company policies and federal, state and local employment laws.
- Partner with leadership to translate business goals into effective people, talent and workforce strategies
. - Drive employee engagement, retention, recognition and culture initiatives.
- Coach leaders on performance management, employee development and organizational effectiveness.
- Support recruiting, onboarding and talent development initiatives across the business.
- Analyze HR trends and workforce data to identify opportunities and recommend solutions.
- Manage HR compliance matters including ADA, FMLA, Workers’ Compensation, EEO and OFCCP requirements
. - Support organizational change, business growth and workforce transitions.
- Maintain a visible presence across operational locations, building strong relationships with employees and leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
- 3+ years of progressive HR Generalist/HR Business Partner experience.
- Strong employee relations and employment law knowledge with experience handling investigations and performance matters.
- Ability to independently support multiple locations and partner effectively with employees and leaders at all levels.
- Strong consulting, influencing, problem‑solving and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, operational environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Experience supporting union and non‑union employees is highly valued.
- Strong HRIS and Microsoft Office skills.
- HR certification and/or advanced degree preferred.
