Title:

Wireless Network Technician (Part-Time)

Schedule:

20–25 hours per week

Rate: $ 30-35/hr

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain wireless access points (WAPs), controllers, and related network equipment
• Perform wireless site surveys and assist with coverage optimization
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues, signal interference, and performance problems
• Support network upgrades, firmware updates, and hardware replacements
• Monitor wireless network performance and ensure system reliability
• Document configurations, changes, and troubleshooting steps
• Coordinate with IT teams and vendors as needed

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in wireless networking or network support
• Hands-on experience with enterprise wireless platforms (Cisco, Aruba, Meraki, or similar)
• Understanding of Wi-Fi standards (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax)
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, and basic routing/switching
• Ability to read network diagrams and documentation
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
