Systems Administrator; Windows Active Directory Security Clearance

Castalia Systems is seeking a Systems Administrator (Windows Active Directory) to ensure the reliability, security, and compliance of Windows systems and applications within HQ USINDOPACOM networks. This role manages over 150 servers across various security levels, involving patching, monitoring, log analysis, and collaboration with developers to enhance workflows.

• Maintain, update, and secure Windows systems and applications.
• Support critical HQ USINDOPACOM systems.
• Ensure compliance with DoD and USINDOPACOM security standards.
• Analyze processes and systems for improvements and automation.
• Utilize SPLUNK and Whats Up-Gold for log analysis and asset monitoring.
• Manage patching and DoD PKI certificates.
• Administer Intune and Ivanti for patching, configuration, and security.
• Configure systems within the USINDOPACOM Endpoint Security Solutions architecture.
• Create and maintain custom scripts.
• Manage Windows Active Directory environments and provide status reports.
• Implement backup and restore procedures.
• Test and execute Continuity of Operations (COOP) plans.
• Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and documentation.
• Offer after-hours and weekend support as needed.
• Provide Monthly Status Reports.

• Must have experience managing and securing Windows Active Directory, Windows Servers, and Windows Workstations within a DoD environment.
• Must have experience securing systems and applications in accordance with Federal, DoD and HQ USINDOPACOM regulations, directives, policies, and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG).
• Must have experience managing Endpoint Configuration Manager, Intune, Ivanti.
• Must have experience managing Group Policy (GPO).
• Must have experience utilizing SPLUNK, ACAS and Whats Up-Gold.
• Must have experience managing Windows Server and Workstation operating systems in a Virtual Machine Operating Environment (VMware).
• Proficiency with Power Shell scripting, Active Directory Service Management, Group Policy, and automation.
• Experience patching Windows servers and workstations via automated tools.
• Experience backing up and restoring Active Directory and Windows operating systems in a virtual environment.
• Experience in managing and reviewing audit logs.
• Experience supporting Endpoint Security Solutions (ESS) agents on Windows systems.
• Education:
  
  High School Diploma.
• At least 5+ years of experience managing and supporting Windows Active Directory (2016 or later), Servers (2016 or later), and Workstations (Windows 11 or later).
• IAW DoD 8140.03-M, Intermediate Proficiency Level qualifications.
• IAT-II (or higher) Certification.
