We are seeking a Material Specialist to support our Engineering & Facilities team through purchasing, inventory management, procurement coordination, and materials control activities that help keep the resort operating safely and efficiently.

This full-time position reports to the Director of Engineering & Facilities and will be working onsite at Aulani Resort on the island of Oahu, Hawaii.

• Position includes both office and field work.
• Schedule flexibility required based on business needs.
• Process material and spare parts orders and track them through completion.
• Coordinate material requisitions and procurement activities for Engineering & Facilities operations.
• Monitor inventory levels and support inventory accuracy and replenishment.
• Track purchase orders, invoices, and payments using SAP and related systems.
• Coordinate shipping, receiving, and movement of materials throughout the resort.
• Partner with Engineering, Planning, Sourcing & Procurement, and Shared Services teams to ensure material availability.
• Maintain compliance with Disney purchasing, inventory, safety, and quality standards.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing, materials control, inventory management, or a related field.
• Experience using SAP or similar purchasing/inventory management systems.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Associate degree or higher in a related field.
• Experience with Coupa, Maximo, Smar Team, Hot Sos, or similar systems.
• Experience supporting engineering, facilities, hospitality, or maintenance operations.

The hiring range for this position in Hawaii is $23.50 to $33.91 per hour. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long‑term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
