Warehouse Pallet Repair 1st Shift

Position Description

Ryder is hiring permanent full‑time Skilled and Semi‑Skilled Construction Laborers for our warehouse manufacturing facility in Kapolei, Hawaii.

Warehouse, Manufacturing and Construction positions pay weekly.

Hourly Pay: $26.00 per hour.

Schedule:

1st Shift Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm.

• Use pneumatic nail gun, powered saw, and other powered/hand tools to repair or assemble pallets.
• Place pallets on repair table, remove defective boards, replace with new boards, and secure boards in place.
• Stand for long periods (8‑10 hours) and lift up to 75 pounds throughout shift.
• Safely and securely repair pallets at a rate that meets company standards and safety standards.
• Operate pry bar to detach damaged boards, hammer, grinder, saw, 25 lb nail gun to nail components.
• Manually lift 70 lb pallets from stack to repair table.
• Ensure pallets meet CHEP's quality control audit.
• Maintain clean, neat, orderly work area.
• Promote safety, comply with OSHA and MSDS standards, wear all safety equipment.
• Perform other duties as required.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 0 to 1 year in carpentry or construction background preferred.
• Ability to comprehend basic math.
• Ability to operate power tools safely.
• Must be able to follow repair process.
• Must be able to twist, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level and crouch frequently.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 lbs using proper techniques.
• Capable of standing and walking for extended periods (at least 2 hrs straight, four times in an 8‑hr day).
• Able to use hands and feet simultaneously and perform repetitive movements.
