Overview
The Flu Clinic (LVN/LPN) - Critical Need is a vital role in supporting the organization's health initiatives.
Responsibilities- Administering flu vaccinations.
- Assisting with patient flow during clinic hours.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
- Ensuring adherence to all safety and infection control protocols.
- Monitoring patient responses to vaccinations and addressing any immediate concerns.
- Replenishing medical supplies as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid LVN/LPN license.
- Current BLS certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an LVN/LPN.
- Proficiency in administering injections.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a clinic setting or with mass vaccination events.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Experience with patient education regarding vaccinations.
