, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer in a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. In this patrol role, you will contribute to daily operations with integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach while delivering reliable and responsive service.

Day Time Mon  02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through established channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor access points and public areas, assist with directing foot traffic, and support orderly entry and exit procedures in accordance with location protocols.
• Communicate with site contacts, first responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or security-related matters requiring follow-up.

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
