GTC builds the team with the best employees and is now hiring experienced Diesel Technicians for the Kapolei, HI Freightliner of Hawaii location.

At GTC, you will work with cutting‑edge industry technologies. With a supportive team and training opportunities, you’ll be empowered to perform routine maintenance or complete engine overhauls in well‑equipped, safe facilities.

• Run diagnostic tests and analyze results.
• Repair or replace vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions, and braking systems.
• Possess a working knowledge of engines, transmissions, differential, A/C, and suspensions.
• Determine unit condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests, identifying deficiencies.
• Read schematics for electrical and air systems.
• Develop technical skills through training opportunities.
• Test equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturer specifications; make necessary adjustments if required.
• Maintain shop cleanliness.

Hourly compensation ranges from $20.00 to $45.00, based on skill and experience.
