Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, HVAC Tech / Heating Engineer
Job Overview
As a Maintenance Tech II, you’ll ensure each unit and building is in working order, providing quality maintenance results and excellent customer service to guests.
Responsibilities- Perform skilled repairs on pool and spa equipment (motors, pumps, heaters, filters, cleaning systems, controls, decks, life safety devices).
- Plan and organize assignments to ensure timely completion.
- Maintain pool deck by pressure cleaning, emptying trash, and straightening furniture.
- Convey pertinent information to other departments.
- Monitor pool water levels and maintain proper water chemistry.
- Maintain areas around pool/ hot tub including deck and showers.
- Store pool equipment and tools properly.
- Apply intermediate knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and perform repairs as needed.
- Conduct plumbing maintenance (pipes, drains, faucets, disposals, showers, Jacuzzi tubs) using soldering, PVC, CPVC, and fittings.
- Replace breakers, ballasts, and other electrical fixtures; prevent and troubleshoot electric hazards.
- Complete preventative programs on HVAC and other systems.
- Repair interior walls, wall coverings, ceilings (patch drywall, replace wood, texture, paint).
- Inspect building systems and report deficiencies; adhere to safety programs.
- Perform other work assigned by management.
- Professional appearance and positive, can‑do attitude with a team focus.
- Ability to work independently or with others as needed.

Generally starting at $28.00 per hour. The actual hourly rate will be determined based on experience, education, skills, training, and work location.
