AEP Hawaii is partnering with a Series B Cybersecurity SaaS startup to hire a Senior Full-Stack Software engineer.
You will help build and evolve core product features used daily by thousands of customers. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy owning features end to end and working closely with product and design in a highly collaborative environment.

Compensation: $180,000–$210,000 + equity

Tech Stack & EnvironmentWe’re transparent about our stack and value strong fundamentals over exact matches:
- Frontend: Type Script, React
- Backend: Ruby, Python, Java (Rails heavily used)
- Product: Feature-driven development with close PM and design collaboration
Experience with similar stacks is welcome.
What You’ll Work On- Building and shipping full-stack product features from idea to production
- Collaborating closely with Product and Design to deliver user-focused solutions
- Improving performance, reliability, and maintainability of existing systems
- Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to engineering best practices
- Taking ownership of meaningful product areas over time
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Experience building and shipping full-stack web applications
- Comfort owning features end to end in a production environment
- Strong product sense and customer empathy
- Clear communication and collaborative mindset
