We are seeking a dependable Receiver to join our distribution team. The Receiver supports distribution center operations by ensuring accurate receipt, verification, and processing of incoming merchandise while maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming merchandise to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with company standards.
- Accurately record inventory transactions in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Identify, document, and resolve discrepancies including shortages, overages, and damaged goods.
- Maintain organized receiving areas and ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of inventory.
- Support inventory accuracy through routine checks, documentation, and adherence to established processes.
- Assist with processing outbound shipments, including verification, labeling, and coordination of carrier pickups.
- Maintain accurate shipping and receiving documentation, logs, and system updates.
- Coordinate with warehouse and transportation teams to support timely movement of goods.
- Maintain records, reports, and basic operational documentation to support warehouse logistics activities.
- Communicate with internal teams and partners to support workflow and issue resolution.
- Assist with tracking shipments, schedules, or operational updates as needed.
- Assist with material handling, staging, and movement of merchandise as needed.
- Support general warehouse tasks, including organizing work areas and maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated attention to detail with the ability to accurately verify, document, and process inventory.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures, safety guidelines, and compliance requirements.
- Basic computer proficiency, including experience entering and maintaining data within WMS or similar systems.
- Ability to perform physical job requirements, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing or moving for extended periods.
- Previous experience in receiving, warehouse, logistics, or distribution operations.
- Familiarity with inventory systems, RF scanners, or barcode technology.
- Experience supporting shipping, documentation, or operational coordination tasks.
- Forklift or material handling equipment experience (if applicable).
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Pay & ScheduleStarting Pay: $20 per hour (ranges $17.00 - $34.15).
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM.
