Warehouse Order Selector

** Position Overview
** As a Selector Trainee, you will work individually selecting full case grocery, frozen, and/or perishable products from warehouse pick slots using a pallet jack or other equipment  You will either use order sheets or an audio headset  You will then fit the items on a pallet  are you good at Tetris? , plastic wrap the bundles, transport pallets to shipping dock and in some cases, load them onto a trailer for delivering to customers  All of our employees are expected to make safety their top priority

 Starting hourly rate is $24 28 per hour

2nd shift starting Sunday at 9am, Monday to Thursday starting at 130pm

** Perform duties of a Order Selector   12 weeks in training *
* Utilizes Electric Pallet Jack to manually pick cases of product from warehouse racks to fill customer orders  Building pallets of products picked to fill the orders  Recording daily actions by use of Voice command, pick sheets and Power warehouse  Fits products on a pallet; insuring heavy products on bottom to reduce damage, plastic wrapping them, and loading them onto a trailer

** Must be able to work to the end of shift
** to include necessary overtime in order to meet business needs and willing to assist in other departments based upon business needs  Perform other job related duties as assigned

** What's a great way to stay in shape?*
* Continually Standing, bending, pulling, lifting, pivoting up to 90% of shift

Walking between 6 12 miles per day on various surfaces including concrete, tile, carpet, etc

Frequently lifting of product weighing between 1   60 lbs  or more

Frequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overhead

Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height

Safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting tools
