Accounts Payable Specialist

Harmer is actively recruiting for an in-office Accounts Payable Specialist with our client located in West Houston. Opportunity is with a growing manufacturing company in West Houston. Our client is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Accounts Payable professional to join our team in a fully onsite role. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on, takes initiative, and thrives in a small team environment.

Position is short term contract - to - hire.

• Process vendor invoices accurately and timely
• Manage weekly check and ACH payment runs
• Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations
• Navigate and maintain AP workflows within the accounting system
• Provide occasional general office support as needed

• 2–5 years of solid Accounts Payable experience
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Quick learner who can adapt easily to new systems and processes
• Willing to roll up sleeves and support a collaborative, small-team environment
• Management experience not required

• Experience with MS Dynamics (Finance & Operations preferred; any Dynamics version a plus)
• Basic to Intermediate Excel skills
• 100% onsite role
