Role Overview

Seeking a Tax Supervisor / Senior Accountant to join a growing team in Katy, TX. The role includes preparing tax returns, conducting account reconciliations, and delivering essential accounting services. You'll work closely with the team to support clients' financial health and contribute strategic financial insights.
Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review tax returns; ensure compliance with regulations
• 4-5 yrs experience in public accounting preparing and filing federal tax return for both individuals(Must have)
• Perform account reconciliations and maintain general ledger accuracy
• Provide accounting support and strategic financial insights for clients
• Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and deliver quality results

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (tax coursework preferred)
• CPA certification or eligibility strongly preferred
• 2-5 years of experience in tax accounting; public accounting experience a plus
• Proficient in tax prep/compliance and account reconciliations
• Comfortable using Quick Books and CCH Tax software
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills-written and verbal
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Must be able to work full-time, on-site in Katy, TX
