Reporting into our US centralized finance structure, the successful candidate will bridge local branch activities with regional financial compliance, bringing both technical expertise and an entrepreneurial mindset to our expanding footprint.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute the month-end and year-end closing processes for the Texas branch, including preparation of complex journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts receivable, fixed assets, accruals, and intercompany transactions.
  • Ensure strict compliance with U.S. GAAP, corporate accounting policies, and internal controls.
  • Support regional tax compliance, local Texas property taxes, franchise taxes, and state regulatory reporting.
  • Partner with the centralized Accounting Manager and corporate teams to support internal/external audits and tax preparation.
  • Analyze local balance sheets and income statements to identify, investigate, and explain monthly budget-to-actual variances.
  • Mentor and provide operational guidance to junior accounting staff or clerks assigned to the branch.
  • Collaborate with local operations, HR, and procurement to streamline branch workflows and implement process improvements.
  • Assist with local cash flow monitoring, localized forecasting, and Capex tracking for the new facility.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA or CPA candidate is highly preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive general accounting experience, ideally combining corporate and plant/branch environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of U.S. GAAP and intercompany accounting.
  • Exceptional proficiency in ERP applications and advanced data analysis via Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively across multiple time zones and cultures.
  • Bilingual in English and Chinese is a plus.
Preferred Skills
  • Prior experience working within a multi-site or multinational manufacturing/distribution company.
  • Experience handling Texas state and local tax filings.
  • Strong project management mindset suited for setting up a new branch’s financial workflows.
  • Starting with 15 paid vacation days in the first year.
  • 5 paid sick leave days per year.
  • Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance plans.
  • Advanced health plan options with employer-subsidized out-of-pocket premiums.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match.
