Qualifications:

College hours, high school diploma or GED

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and file maintenance

Excellent organization, communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills

Strong computer skills

Strong problem-solving skills

Excellent telephone and public relations skills

Strong English, writing, and spelling skills

Primary

Purpose:

Provide clerical assistance as assigned.

Major

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Monitor and maintain the professional learning management/database system for district.

* Update professional learning management/database training content and provide suggestions/feedback for improvement

* Provide training and continuous support to campus and department professional learning input managers, in person and online.

* Perform extensive data input.

* Support the planning, coordination, and implementation of district professional learning sessions and days to ensure smooth and effective learning experiences.

* Handle heavy daily telephone and e-mail communication.

* Prepare correspondence, reports, memos, etc.

* Maintain filing systems for professional learning documents.

* Contribute to team efforts in maintaining an efficient office environment.

* Assist in maintaining Professional Learning online communication platforms.

* Perform other duties as assigned.

Equipment Used:

Personal computer, laminator, printer, copier, plotter and fax machine.

Working Conditions:

Ability to stand, sit, walk, stoop, push and pull. Repetitive hand motions, prolonged use of a computer. Moderate (15-44 pounds) lifting and carrying. Work with frequent interruptions; maintain emotional control under stress; occasional prolonged and irregular hours; some district travel required.
