and communication with internal project managers and external contractors regarding the status of estimates.
A TYPICAL DAY MIGHT INCLUDE:
- Receive and process pay estimates in a timely manner.
- Communicate with Project Manager/Project Team regarding any items needed in order to process estimates.
- Communicate with external contractors to request necessary documentation, or to communicate pay estimate status.
- Prepare and distribute change orders if necessary.
- Maintain pay estimate templates and documents.
- Maintain tracking of pay estimates and change orders
- Prepare Certificate of Completion for final pay estimates.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of pay estimates requirements present in each individual contract document.
- Generate pay estimate information packet for contractors at project start.
- Attend and participate in department status meetings.
- Associate's degree preferred
- 2+ years of experience (construction and/or engineering field is preferred).
- Software Requirements - Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and internal employees.
- Strong proofreading, writing, and formatting skills.
- Ability to read and understand contract requirements.
