Position Overview:As a Graphic Designer at Southstone Church, you are eager to use your creative talents to support our communication efforts. You have a keen eye for design, strong communication skills, and a passion for working on meaningful projects. Your role will involve designing and creating assets for projects aligned with Southstone Church's vision:
Reaching People and Building Lives. The win for this role is a consistently growing number of small groups, small group membership, and small group leaders, such that being part of a small group spiritual family is in grained in the DNA of the church.
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality, visually engaging graphics and visuals for weekend service experiences, social media content, campaigns, web design, and more.
- Support ministries and campuses with creative requests, including signage, branding, and events.
- Work closely with the Communications Director, other departments, and campuses to understand project requirements and effectively translate concepts into visually appealing designs.
- Oversee the design and ordering of all print materials required for projects within Southstone Church.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality designs within established deadlines.
- Embrace feedback from team members and departments to refine and improve designs and deliverables continuously.
- Perform other duties, as needed.
- Complete understanding and experience with Adobe Software Products, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, as well as other design software.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and composition.
- A believer committed to nurturing a growing relationship with Christ and consistently demonstrating Christian character and integrity.

- Well-organized and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

A Bachelor's degree, certificate, or college coursework in a related field is a plus.
Professional / Work ExperienceRequired:
- 2+ years of experience creating and designing materials in a related field.
Able to physically perform the duties outlined above.
