Part‑Time

Before and After School Site Program Manager (Split‑Shift)

We are seeking a part‑time, split‑shift Before and After School Site Program Manager within the Katy School District for the 2026‑2027 school year beginning in August 2026.

Schedule
  • Leonard Elementary – AM: 6:15 a.m.–8:20 a.m.; PM: 3:15 p.m.–6:30 p.m.
  • Mitzi Cross – AM: 6:15 a.m.–8:20 a.m.; PM: 3:15 p.m.–6:30 p.m.
  • Winborn Elementary – PM only: 2:45 p.m.–6:30 p.m.
  • Morton Ranch Elementary – AM: 6:15 a.m.–7:50 a.m.; PM: 3:00 p.m.–6:30 p.m.
  • Ursula Stephens Elementary – AM: 6:15 a.m.–8:20 a.m.; PM: 3:15 p.m.–6:30 p.m.
Pay Range

$20–$24 per hour (based on education and experience)

Site Location

Located inside Katy School District schools (listed above)

Responsibilities
  • Exhibit role model qualities to ensure safety and joy standards are met, support staff through clear understanding of roles and responsibilities, maintain operational efficiency, update site documents and licensing standards, outline attendance protocols, behavior policies, safety procedures, and ensure program tasks are completed effectively.
  • Consistently support and report on safety protocols to ensure the well‑being of all participants, identify and mitigate potential risks within the program environment.
  • Engage meaningfully with families, client partners, peers, and children to support effective communication and relationship building; respond promptly to emails, text messages, and inquiries during program hours; collaborate regularly with the Area Manager to support program goals and implement changes or processes as guided.
  • Maintain accurate records for student check‑ins and check‑outs; ensure “name to face” attendance procedures are completed per company policy.
  • Implement daily activities, fitness fun, and curriculum while providing a safe and engaging environment.
Requirements
  • Must be 21 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
  • One year of supervisor/management experience.
  • 70 clock hours of training in child or youth development, recreational leadership, management, or CDA, with verifiable documentation.
  • At least one year of experience in a licensed child‑care program.
  • Proof of high school diploma/GED required.
Ideal Candidate
  • Experience with working among competing priorities and delivering quality service to all stakeholders.
  • 70 clock hours of training in child or youth development, recreational leadership, or management.
  • At least one year of experience in a licensed program in a child‑care/school setting.
  • One year of experience managing/supervising employees.
  • High school diploma or GED completed.
  • Experience working with children and knowledge of unique and special needs.
  • Coursework or training in child development and/or related field.
  • Communication skills: oral, written, and visual with adults and children.
  • Ability to model professional standards when dealing with students, parents, staff, and community.
  • Familiarity with Google technology software or willingness to learn.
