Preschool Assistant Director

Education and Experience:

• Has a minimum of 2 years of experience as a School Director in a licensed childcare center.
• Meets State Requirements for a State license as a School Director, preferably with a non-renewable certificate.

• Implements Children’s Lighthouse policies, procedures and systems to ensure safe, healthy environment in compliance with Children’s Lighthouse and State Standards at all times.
• Plans and participates responsibly in marketing and special events.
• Maximize occupancy of building. (Enrollment)
• Impacts change required for continual compliance and improvement.
• Recruits, hires, orients, trains, supervises, and evaluates staff.
• Manages budget in compliance with Franchisee guidelines.
• Represents Children’s Lighthouse to public, community, parents, visitors and staff with professionalism and integrity.
• Attends/conducts meetings and trainings as directed.
• Consistently follows through and completes all duties and responsibilities as assigned in a competent and timely manner.
• Day to day operations in compliance with quality standards of Children's Lighthouse.
• Wise productive use of time.
• Able to accept and handle change.
• Accepts instruction and direction in an appropriate manner.
• Able to work flexible hours.

The School Director reports to the Franchisee.
