POSITION SUMMARY
An Andretti Game Tech is a part‑time role responsible for anticipating guest needs and exceeding guest service expectations. All positions assist guests in various activities, following Andretti Indoor Karting and Games high standards of quality to ensure Guest satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Welcome visitors by greeting them in a friendly and positive manner.
- Anticipate and respond to guests with urgency and professionalism.
- Perform repairs on games, explain operation of games to guests.
- Maintain inventory of electronics, game parts, tools, and prize game supplies.
- Document game issues, parts used, and work history.
- Work independently and demonstrate self‑starter abilities.
- Perform preventative maintenance on all games, simulators, and attractions.
- Operate AV systems, including movie sound, mobile video, projectors, and control systems.
- Use volt/ohmmeter and soldering gun; read schematics.
- Keep all games clean and presentable.
- Instruct and monitor guests for safety and guideline adherence.
- Assist with guest recovery and notify manager to ensure a positive experience.
- Communicate clearly and professionally while interacting enthusiastically with guests and co‑workers.
- Collaborate with other departments to meet guest needs.
- Attend required department and company meetings and training sessions.
- Maintain a clean work area in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Know emergency procedures.
- Perform opening, running, and closing department duties as assigned.
- Adhere to uniform guidelines.
- Show eagerness to learn new skills and trades.
- 1+ year of guest service experience, preferably in hospitality, restaurant, or entertainment setting.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail, guest‑focused, and ability to perform in a fast‑paced, loud environment.
- Works days, nights, holidays, and/or weekends as required.
- Ability to use a point‑of‑sale system and other electronic equipment.
- Ability to work a varied schedule to include days, nights, holidays, and weekends.

- Walk or stand for extended periods of time.
- Lift up to 15 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis; lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Perform functions requiring organization, bending, reaching, turning, climbing, and occasional stocking.
- Communicate quickly and accurately.
- Work in environments with bright, dim, flashing lights and loud sounds.
- Have manual dexterity to use and operate necessary equipment.
- Understand, follow, and maintain safety standards at all times.
