We are looking for an experienced, compassionate LSLS Certified Auditory-Verbal Speech-Language Pathologist to provide high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic Auditory Verbal services for children with hearing loss and communication needs. The ideal candidate will bring clinical expertise, creativity, and a strong commitment to family education and coaching.
Responsibilities- Provide direct speech and language therapy using Auditory-Verbal Therapy (AVT) approaches.
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate closely with audiologists, occupational therapists, teachers of the deaf, and families to ensure coordinated care.
- Offer parent coaching and family support as a core part of therapy.
- Maintain detailed documentation and track patient progress.
- Contribute to staff training, parent education, and community outreach efforts.
- Support the mission of our early intervention school for children who are deaf and hard of hearing.
- CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology).
- LSLS Certification (Auditory-Verbal Therapist or Auditory-Verbal Educator).
- Current state license (or eligibility for licensure) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- 3+ years of pediatric experience, preferably with children who are deaf or hard of hearing.
- Strong family-centered care approach and excellent communication skills.
- Passion for early intervention and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.
