PRN Caregiver Position – Now Hiring at Homewatch Care Givers of Katy Dear Applicant,

Homewatch Care Givers of Katy is currently hiring for a PRN Caregiver position. We’re looking for professionals who are not only experienced in home care but also genuinely passionate about providing quality, compassionate support.

This role is a dual position that combines both in-office coordination and field caregiving responsibilities. It’s ideal for someone dependable, flexible, and committed to delivering excellent care.

What we’re looking for:

• Availability to cover caregiving shifts Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

• Flexibility to support new client starts during the week

• Willingness to work weekends as needed

• Ability to coordinate and adjust weekly schedules based on client needs

• Promptly address and resolve scheduling issues in a professional manner

• Comfortable with communication between clients, families, and staff

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a CNA or in a similar caregiving role

• Experience in developing patient goals and tracking progress

• Able to assist in training new staff and creating caregiver schedules

• Maintains confidentiality and ensures quality care

• Skilled in personal care and transferring clients safely using gait belts and Hoyer lifts

Must have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance Pay starts at $14/hour and may vary depending on the client’s approved rate.

As a PRN Caregiver, you may not always be scheduled to cover shifts, but when a shift opens up, you must be available to accept it any time between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM.
