Physician Assistant Job Details:

Schedule: Monday - Sunday | 8:00 AM - 9:00 PM (Shift vary)

Location: Katy, TX

Temporary to hire

Starting Pay Rate: $55.00 hour + (based on experience)

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of acute illnesses and minor injuries in accordance with clinical guidelines.
• Demonstrate strong suturing and wound management skills, including laceration repair and minor procedures.
• Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans and follow-up care instructions.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic studies such as laboratory tests and imaging.
• Prescribe medications and therapies within scope of practice and regulatory requirements.
• Provide patient education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and aftercare.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Adhere to all clinical protocols, safety standards, and infection control practices.

• High school diploma or equivalent, required.
• Active Physician Assistant (PA) license in TEXAS
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• DOT Certification Required

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in urgent care or emergency department setting required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in suturing and wound management required.
• Strong clinical judgment, assessment, and procedural skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while delivering patient-centered care.
